"WOE!" November 2025 - NM Prayer Connect/PATH, NM/COG, NM, El Paso, TX & SWIM Newsletter! Jeremiah 23 New American Standard Bible 1995 The Coming Messiah: the Righteous Branch 23 “Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!” declares the Lord. 2 Therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel concerning the shepherds who are [a] tending My people: “You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds,” declares the Lord. 3 “Then I Myself will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and bring them back to their pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply. 4 I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will [b] tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the Lord. 5 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “When I will raise up for David a righteous [c] Branch; And He will reign as king and [d] act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land. 6 “In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell securely; And this is His name by which He will be called, ‘The Lord our righteousness.’ Read full chapter Footnotes
In the Bible, "woe" is a term that signifies grief, distress, or impending judgment. It serves as a prophetic warning, often highlighting the seriousness of sin and the consequences that follow. The Greek term for "woe" is "ouai," which conveys a sense of lamentation and is used to express a judgment against those who rebel against God. Bible Hub+2 For those who participated in the most recent "No Kings' rallies across America and around the world, take note of the following scripture verses, because Jesus/Yeshua is the King of Kings and LORD of all, whether you like it or not! To my praying sisters and brothers, never forget that 2 Chronicles 7:14 is not just about God healing us, but healing the land, because all of creation is groaning and eagerly awaiting for the sons of God to be revealed. Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, preachers, teachers, bishops, elders, deacons and all shepherds of God's flock must take heed to the Word of God laid out before us today, because we are the ones to equip the saints for service in His kingdom of righteousness, peace/shalom and joy in the Holy Ghost! Ecclesiastes 10:16-20 New American Standard Bible 1995 16 Woe to you, O land, whose king is a lad and whose princes [a] feast in the morning. 17 Blessed are you, O land, whose king is of nobility and whose princes eat at the appropriate time—for strength and not for drunkenness. 18 Through indolence the rafters sag, and through slackness the house leaks. 19 Men prepare a meal for enjoyment, and wine makes life merry, and money [b] is the answer to everything. 20 Furthermore, in your bedchamber do not curse a king, and in your sleeping rooms do not curse a rich man, for a bird of the heavens will carry the sound and the winged creature will make the matter known. Notice the three 'woes' in the following portion of Holy script, read carefully Ezekiel's two 'woes' following and brace yourself for Jesus' eight. More than God's, "Moses, Moses," Jesus' "Verily, verily" or "Truly, truly," understand that when God speaks once, we should all listen and properly respond, but when He doubles down, triples of magnifies His Word eight Times, as He does in Matthew 23, the Church/His Bride, better wake up to reality! He means business. Isa 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who [fn] substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who [fn] substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! (5:20) Literally: set. Isaiah 33:1 New American Standard Bible 1995 The Judgment of God 33 Woe to you, O destroyer, While you were not destroyed; And he who is treacherous, while others did not deal treacherously with him. As soon as you finish destroying, you will be destroyed; As soon as you cease to deal treacherously, others will deal treacherously with you. Isaiah 45:9 New American Standard Bible 9 “Woe to the one who quarrels with [a] his Maker-- A piece of pottery [b] among the other earthenware pottery pieces! Ezekiel 16:23-29 23 "Then it came about after all your wickedness ('Woe, woe to you!' declares the Lord God), 24 that you built yourself a shrine and made yourself a high place in every square. 25 You built yourself a high place at the top of every street and made your beauty abominable, and you spread your legs to every passer-by to multiply your harlotry. 26 You also played the harlot with the Egyptians, your lustful neighbors, and multiplied your harlotry to make Me angry. 27 Behold now, I have stretched out My hand against you and diminished your rations. And I delivered you up to the desire of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of your lewd conduct. 28 Moreover, you played the harlot with the Assyrians because you were not satisfied; you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied. 29 You also multiplied your harlotry with the land of merchants, Chaldea, yet even with this you were not satisfied."'" Matthew 23:13-36 New American Standard Bible Eight Woes 13 “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut the kingdom of heaven in front of people; for you do not enter it yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.[a] 15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel around on sea and land to make one [b] proselyte; and when he becomes one, you [c] make him twice as much a son of [d] hell as yourselves. 16 “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the [e] temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the [f] temple is obligated.’ 17 You fools and blind men! Which is [g] more important, the gold or the [h ]temple that sanctified the gold? 18 And you say, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the [i] offering that is on it is obligated.’ 19 You blind men, which is [j]more important, the [k] offering or the altar that sanctifies the [l] offering? 20 Therefore, the one who swears by the altar, swears both by [m] the altar and by everything on it. 21 And the one who swears by the [n] temple, swears both by [o] the temple and by Him who dwells in it. 22 And the one who swears by [p] heaven, swears both by the throne of God and by Him who sits upon it. 23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and [q] cumin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the Law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. 24 You blind guides, who [r] strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! 25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full [s] of robbery and self-indulgence. 26 You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the [t] outside of it may also become clean. 27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 So you too, outwardly appear righteous to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. 29 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs for the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous, 30 and you say, ‘If we had been living in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partners with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ 31 So you testify against yourselves, that you are [u] sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 [v] Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers. 33 You snakes, you [w] offspring of vipers, how [x]will you escape the [y] sentence of [z] hell? 34 “Therefore, behold, I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city, 35 so that upon you will fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the [aa] temple and the altar. 36 Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. After prayerfully reading over the above warnings from God, we must look to the future, the following Revelation of Jesus Christ. Always remember that God is Love, He wishes none would perish and all would come to repentance! His Word is to bring correction, discipline if necessary, but it's always meant to bring us to His total healing and full restoration, should we choose to accept it, but if not, judgement is coming. Sooner or later, the curtain drops, the credits roll and it's the end, when God will say, "Enough!" All indications are that Jesus is at the door, so there's no time to waste, we have a job to do, so as mentioned earlier, we have three distinct 'woes' to those who live on the earth from Isaiah the prophet in chapter five of his writings, which contain more Messianic prophecies than any other book in the Bible. As we come to a close, in Revelation 8, we see three confirming 'woes,' the remaining blasts of the trumpet, as the three angels are about to sound. In Revelation 9, the first woe is past, but we're warned once again that two woes are still coming and we're told to behold, literally meaning to fix your gaze upon and use both ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the church in our day! Revelation 11 tells us the second woe is past, again to behold and the third and final woe is coming quickly. Jesus says He is coming like a thief in the night, He is coming quickly, no man knows the day or the hour, but for certain, He is coming soon! Like the sons of Issachar, Jashub, Shimron, Tola & Puah, in the books of Genesis & 1 Chronicles 7-14; each and every one of us must discern, understand the days and times we are living in and to know what we ought to do. Throughout biblical history, the tribe of Issachar is portrayed as a stabilizing force that provided crucial wisdom and counsel during periods of change and uncertainty. This wisdom made them effective leaders who could advise the nation and awaken them to freedom! Sisters & brothers, timing is everything and today we need a true spiritual awakening and revival in our city, county, state, nation and the world. Revelation 8:13 New American Standard Bible 13 Then I looked, and I heard [a] an eagle flying in midheaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to those who live on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!” Read full chapter Footnotes
